John Tomlinson losing the sprint for the last place to qualify for the New York City Team for the 1997 Empire State Games to Mason O'Neal. JT made on the team anyway when someone else dropped out. Metro-SBCG made up three of the ten guys on the New York City team and one from Long Island.
