Men's and Women's National Points Races have three-place hill climbing prizes based on points accumulated each lap up Tiorati Brook Road sponsored by Timex.

General Information:

  • Start is 10:00 for all categories
  • Race registration closes on September 7 for mail-in, and September 1 for Active.com; $10 surcharge for day-of-race registration
  • Register by mail or on-line at Active.com
  • Number pick-up at Lake Welch Parking area from 8:00 until 9:00
  • Start/finish and staging will be at approach to Lake Welch.

Marshals and Pace drivers. Free entry plus payment for every marshal or driver a rider brings

Race Course:
14 mile moderately hilly loop (42 x 21 or 23). Roads are open to cars, but traffic is light. Feed zone is a short walk from Start/Finish - No Parking On The Course. This course has seen numerous district and national championships and is considered one of the best all-around road courses in the country. Road surfaces are clean and well paved. Note, there is a very fast descent, followed by a full turn around two miles from the start. We strongly advise coming early to familiarize yourself with the route. The yellow line rule will be strictly enforced. For details see the US Military Academy Cycling Team's course map.

Travel Directions:
Palisades Interstate Parkway to exit 16. Follow Lake Welch Parkway to entrance to parking area.
